This baroque garden and English landscape park has been created by the electors of the Palatinate. Nowadays it’s listed World Cultural Heritage.
Der barocke Teil ist typisch symmetrisch und mit geformten Büschen und Beeten angelegt, hat Springbrunnen und Figuren zu bieten.
The baroque part shows the typical symmetrical forms of beds and bushes, fountains and statues.

Here are aviaries on the right and left hand sides, whereas you find the far view in the middle a bit more close-up below:
Diese Illusion (im Volksmund „Ende der Welt“ genannt), gaukelt dem Auge einen Blick in ferne Landschaft vor. Tatsächlich steht am Ende des „Tunnels“ eine konkave Steinwand mit einem Gemälde darauf. Solche Spielereien waren früher sehr beliebt – und sind auch heute noch recht romantisch!
This illusion (or „end of the world“ as people call it) imitates a view into a faraway landscape. Actually, there is a concave wall at the end of the „tunnel“ with a large painting on it. This kind of bauble was quite a thing at the time – and still today a romantic quirk!
Typisch sind immer wieder kleine, überraschende Ansichten wie alle möglichen romantischen Bauten und künstlichen Ruinen, hier das „Römische Wasserkastell“

Wasserläufe und Brücken dürfen natürlich auch nicht fehlen!
Creeks and little bridges are a must, of course, too!
Unter anderem gibt es ein „Porzellanhaus“, das komplett mit Delfter Kacheln ausgekleidet ist.
Also, there is a „China House“ with interior wall covered with Delft blue tiles.
Ich kann hier gar nicht alles zeigen – am besten selbst entdecken! Unten nur noch ein paar Eindrücke im Barockgarten.
