Im letzten Beitrag hatte ich bereits die Zeichnung vorgestellt, die im Park von Schloss Linderhof angefertigt hatte. Hier nun die schönsten Fotos von diesem Ausflug! Die Innenräume habe ich nicht besichtigt – erstens hatte ich sie schon einmal gesehen, außerdem darf man innen nicht fotografieren.

In my last post I already had shown the sketch I’d done in the Linderhof Castle park. Now here are the best shot’s I’ve taken on that trip. This time I didn’t visit the interior of the castle because I already know it and it is not allowed to take photos there.

Die berühmteste Ansicht ist auf alle Fälle die Achse vom Schlosseingang zum Tempel, mit dem Wasserbecken und der Fontäne (die nur in bestimmten Abständen für ein paar Minuten gezeigt wird).

The most famous view is this from the entrance of the palace towards the „temple“, with the water pool and the fountain (which is only operated in certain intervalls for a few minutes).

Diese Wassertreppe mit Brunnenskulptur ist hinter dem Schloss zu finden. Bei dem hellen Sonnenlicht habe ich mit Graufilter arbeiten müssen, um durch eine längere Belichtung das Wasser „zum Fließen zu bringen“.

This water stairway and fountain sculpture can be found at the back entrance of the palace. With the bright sunlight I had to use a grey filter for my camera to be able to take a long exposure, making „the water flow“.
