In meinem Urlaub verbrachte ich zwei Tage im Elsass. Unter anderem besuchte ich „Les Jardins de la Ferme Bleue “ in dem kleinen Ort Uttenhoffen. Ein zauberhaftes, etwas verstecktes Juwel!

On vacation now, I spent two days in Alsace. My first destination were „Les Jardins de la Ferme Bleue“, in the village of Uttenhoffen. A somewhat hidden, enchanting little gem!

Dieses Blau, schon fast leicht ins Lila gehend, nennt sich „Haguenau Blau“, und geht auf die Hugenotten zurück. Haguenau ist die nächste Stadt bei Uttenhoffen. Ich jedenfalls finde es ganz besonders hübsch im Zusammenspiel mit den Gärten!

This kind of blue, with a hint of purple in it, is called „Haguenau Blue“ (Haguenau being the nearest town) and has historical roots with the huguenots. Anyway, it’s especially pretty in context with the gardens!

Dieser liebevoll gestaltete Privatgarten kostet aktuell 5€ Eintritt und ist nur Donnerstag bis Sonntag und an Feiertagen geöffnet – mit unterschiedlichen Zeiten, daher auf alle Fälle vorab im Internet informieren! Es gibt auch immer wieder kleine Konzerte etc. im Garten.

The entry fee for this private garden „made with love“ is 5€. Opening only from Thursday to Sunday and on holidays with different opening hours every day, so be advised to check them online before your visit! Also, there are little concerts and other events taking place from time to time.
