Diesmal hatte ich mir selbst unterschiedliche Aufgaben gestellt: 1. Eine Landschaft in größerem Format, als ich sonst verwende – hier Aquarellblock 32x24cm, also nicht riesig, aber größer als im Sketchbuch. 2. Ein Objekt direkt abzeichnen, also mal nicht vom Foto. 3. Ein kleines, schnelles Motiv ohne Bleistift, direkt mit dem Feinliner zügig gezeichnet (Übung für die Reise!)

This time I chose to task myself with three different ways to practice: 1. A landscape in a larger format than I usually use (that’s to say larger than my sketchbook; I did it on a watercolour pad 32x24cm). 2. Sketching an objekt from life, not from a photo. 3. A fast, small sketch without the use of a pencil, directly with black fineliner on a postcard format (practice for travels and urban sketching).
