Meine Tochter, die ja in der Schweiz in einem Bergtal wohnt, schickt mir gelegentlich Bilder von ihren Wanderungen oder auch von der Skipiste. Gestern kam ein Bild mit Blick auf das winterliche Tal, und ich musste es gleich zeichnen!

My daughter, living in a valley in the Switzerland Alps, from time to time sends me photos taken on hiking tours or on the skiing slope. Yesterday she sent a picture showing the view of the winter valley – I immidiately took pen and colours!

Da ich im selben Ordner auf dem Handy auch noch ein anderes von ihr hatte, das entweder im Herbst oder im Frühjahr entstanden war, malte ich dies dann auch gleich.

Since I found another one by her in the same folder on my phone, it got sketched, too. I think it had been taken in autumn, or perhaps in spring.
