Im Urlaub habe ich auch einige interessante Orte in Baden-Württemberg besucht. Unter anderem das Städtchen Besigheim (an der Enz).
On vacation, I also visited several interesting places in Baden-Württemberg (in the south-west of Germany). One of them is the small town of Besigheim (on the river Enz).
Abgesehen von dem schönen Anblick über den Fluss (oben im Aquarell), bietet es eine hübsche Altstadt mit Fachwerkhäusern.
Apart from the beautiful view over the river (watercolour above), it offers a picturesque old part of town with many half-timbered houses.

Der Waldhornturm stammt aus der Staufferzeit um 1220.
This tower was built around 1220, during the time of the Stauffer reign.
An der Enz gibt es dies Wasserrad.

Besigheim ist beliebt als Zwischenstopp auf Radtouren, und an Wochenenden/Feiertagen kann sich die enge Innenstadt bei schönem Wetter auch mal sehr füllen. Mein Tipp ist daher, an einem Wochentag zu kommen.
Besigheim is a favourite as stop-over on biking tours. On weekends and holidays, when the weather is fine, the small old part of town can be crowded, so if possible, visit on a regular day.
