Nach ein paar Video-Tutorials im Internet hatte ich Lust, auch mal Blumensträusse in Nass-Technik zu malen, die etwas mehrschichtiger sind und mehr Tiefe haben. Beim ersten konnte ich mich noch nicht ganz von meinen Linien zur Betonung des Motivs trennen, doch beim Zweiten wurde es tatsächlich ein klassisches Aquarell ohne Linien.
After watching several video tutorials on the net, I felt like trying flowers in the classic wet technique, with more layers and thus creating more depth. In my first try I still wasn’t ready to give up my pen lines alltogether, but the second bouquet I achieved a classic watercolour without lines.
Pfingstrosen: hier gibt es noch dünne Linien…
Peonies: here you still find fine lines…
Diese Fantasieblüten dagegen kommen ohne aus – alle „Striche“ hier sind mit dem Pinsel gesetzt. Beide Bilder sind noch nicht besonders souverän, aber ich werde auch an dieser Technik weiter feilen!
These fancy flowers, though, only show brush strokes. Both pictures still aren’t very sophisticated, but I’ll definitely go on practicing this technique, too!
