Bereits vor einiger Zeit hatte ich die obige Bluse genäht. Der seidene Crêpe de Chine war nicht billig, vor allem mit diesem fantastischen Inkjet-Druck. Doch letzterer verführte mich dann doch zum Kauf. Wegen des Preises nahm ich nur so viel davon, dass es, kombiniert mit anderem Stoff, für eine Bluse reichte.

Some time ago already I had sewn this blouse. The silk material with the gorgeous inkjet print was quite expensive, but intrigued me, so I only took enough for front and back.

Zu Hause fand ich schnell ein paar größere Reste aus Viskosejersey, die das Raubtiermuster wiederholen. Seitenteile, Ärmel, Knopfleiste und Kragen schnitt ich daraus zu. Die Rosenknöpfe (unten) hatte ich auch noch daheim – hier passen sie sehr schön. Ich liebe diese Bluse sehr, denn sie ist nicht nur besonders chic, sondern trägt sich auch so bequem wie ein Shirt!

At home, I found matching printed Jersey material in my stash – enough for the side pieces, sleeves, button tape and collar. The rose buttons (below), too, are from my stash. I really love this blouse because it’s not only fashionable but also as comfy as a Tee-shirt!

Da ich diese Materialkombination so toll finde, habe ich nun noch eine Bluse in dieser Art genäht – allerdings als „Upcycling“-Projekt, denn der Seidenstoff besteht aus zwei alten Seidentüchern, eines Crêpe de Chine, eines Seidentwill. Farblich passen sie sehr gut zusammen, nur die Muster sind ganz verschieden. Der einfarbige Lurex-Jerseystoff aus Viskose vereint die beiden nun.

Since I liked this combination of materials, I’ve now sewn another blouse this way. Only this time it’s also an upcycling project: the silk fabric actually coming from two vintage silk scarves! They have their colour scheme in common but show different patterns. A goldtone rayon Jersey material „marries“ them for the blouse.

Zunächst wollte ich rote Knöpfe verwenden, doch das sah nicht gut aus. Daher habe ich stattdessen nur die Knopflöcher mit rotem Garn genäht und kleine Goldknöpfe verwendet.- Die Idee mit den alten Seidentüchern werde ich sicher auch in Zukunft nochmal aufgreifen!

At first, I wanted to use red buttons, but didn’t like the look. So instead I only used red yarn for the buttonholes, choosing small gold tone buttons.- Since I really like the idea with the vintage scarves, there will be other projects like this in the future, too!
