Vor 2 Jahren hatte ich mit meiner Mutter einen Tagesausflug in den Bayerischen Wald gemacht. Auf dem Gipfel des Großen Arber machte ich ein Foto, weil mir gefiel, wie sich das Gelb der Blumen im Vordergrund bei den Sonnenschirmen auf der Restaurantterrasse im Hintergrund wiederfindet. Damals hatte ich noch nicht viel Übung im Zeichnen und Malen, doch nun wollte ich das Motiv endlich umsetzen!

Two years ago my Mum and me made a daytrip to the Bavarian Forest. On the summit of Mount Arber I took a photo because I liked the way the colour of the yellow flowers in the foreground was repeated by the sunshades on the restaurant’s terrace in the background. At the time I still wasn’t skilled in sketching and painting, but now I’ve finally done this motive!
