Da ich inzwischen schon voll dabei bin, Weihnachtsgeschenke herzustellen, muss ich immer gut überlegen, welches dieser Werke ich posten kann, ohne dass der/die zukünftige Empfänger das Geschenk schon vor Weihnachten zu sehen bekommt… Bei meiner 4 jährigen Enkelin ist das kein Problem! Für sie habe ich ein Blanko-Puzzle mit Acrylfarben bemalt:

Weshalb ich so früh anfange? Naja, erstens braucht Selbstgemachtes eben seine Zeit, und außerdem werde ich wahrscheinlich im Dezember kaum noch dazu kommen. Derzeit ist alles etwas unsicher, weil mir höchstwahrscheinlich eine Knie-OP bevorsteht, und ich weiß noch gar nicht sicher, ob das vor Weihnachten noch gemacht wird, und wenn ja, wie lang es dauert, bis ich danach wieder fit bin… Wegen dieses Knies bin ich nun schon länger krankgeschrieben (in meinem Beruf muss man gut zu Fuss sein), und habe daher „Zeit“… So, nun hab ich doch mal ein bißchen aus dem Nähkästchen geplaudert 🙂
Why do I start this early? Well, first, DIY takes time, and in December I might not be able to create much. At the moment, everything is a bit in limbo because most probably my knee will need to be operated on. It is still uncertain if this will take place before Christmas or after; also, I don’t know how much time it will take for me to recover properly afterwards… Because of the bad knee, I’ve already been on sick leave for some time now (in my job I have to walk and climb stairs a lot), thus I’ve got some time on my hands for sketching and DIY… So much for a glimpse of my private life as it is now 🙂
