Während meines Urlaubs hatte ich auch meine Sommergarderobe um ein paar Teile erweitert. Diese Bluse ist nur ein Hauch auf der Haut, ganz feine Baumwolle für heiße Tage.. Ihr Schlangenmuster schillert in vielen zarten Farben, zusätzlich zu weiß und braun. Das macht sie sehr kombifreudig.
During my holidays I had sewn a few pieces for summer. This blouse is just a light breeze on the skin, very fine cotton, for hot days. Its snake pattern shows many light colours plus white and brown – very versatile!
Die weiße Knopfleiste bringt die vielen verschiedenen Perlmuttknöpfe zur Geltung, die ich in letzter Zeit auf Flohmärkten etc. gesammelt habe. Ihr Schimmer passt perfekt zum Stoffmuster.
On the white button tape many different mother-of-pearl buttons add interest and perfectly match the colours of the fabric. Lately, I’ve begun to collect buttons on flea markets etc. just for the purpose of creating interesting closures for blouses and jackets.
Speziell für solche Zwecke habe ich begonnen, Knöpfe zu sammeln, denn neue sind teuer und ich finde gebrauchte interessanter (meistens). Dann hatte ich noch einen leichten Denimstoff, auch mit (anderem) Schlangenmuster, den ich mit einem weißen leichten Denim zu einem Blusenjäckchen kombiniert habe:

Hier kamen wieder alte Perlmuttknöpfe zum Einsatz, diesmal alle von einer Sorte:

Dazu passend eine 3/4 Hose:
Matching it are the 5-pocket-style 3/4 pants:
Sodass ein Anzug daraus wird; mal so getragen, mal mit offenem Jäckchen und Top darunter.
So this makes for a combination which can be worn like this or with a small top under the open jacket.
Sowohl zum Anzug als auch zur leichten Bluse passt prima die Kette, die ich ebenfalls aus alten Perlmuttköpfen und einigen Perlmuttperlen gefertigt habe:
