Der zweite Teil meines Urlaubs führte mich mal wieder in die Schweiz zu meiner Tochter. Da auch ihre Schwiegereltern aus Kanada zu Besuch waren, hatten sie und ihr Mann sich ein paar „Programmpunkte“ zu unserer Unterhaltung ausgedacht. So führte uns der erste gemeinsame Tag zum zürcher Flughafen – „Futter“ für meinen Fotoapparat!
Once again, I spent the second part of my vacation in Switzerland with my daughter. Since her in-laws from Canada were visiting, too, she and her husband had prepared a „menu“ for our entertainment. The first day they drove us to Zurich airport, which kept my camera busy!

Heimische Gefühle inbegriffen… Nun bin ich natürlich kein Spezialist und kenne mich vor allem mit technischen Daten von Flugzeugen gar nicht aus, doch wer Interesse hat, tolle Bilder und ausführliche Infos von einem eingefleischten Flugzeugliebhaber zu sehen, dem empfehle ich Aarons tollen Blog „Pilotstories“, hier auf wordpress, und bei Facebook! Ich dagegen verabschiede mich lieber ganz emotional mit den Worten von Reinhard Mey: „Ich wär‘ gerne mitgeflogen….!“

The last plane triggers thoughts of home… Well, as you can see I’m no expert and don’t know technical data about planes, but for those interested, there are a lot of specialized blogs about planespotting out there; for German speakers p.e. „Pilotstories“ here on wordpress and Facebook. Instead, I like to say goodbye today quite emotionally with quotes from the famous German singer and songwriter (and pilot!) Reinhard Mey: „I’d have liked to join the flight!“ and:
