So, da bin ich wieder, mit vielen Bildern aus dem Norden.. Es war ja nur eine Woche, mit zwei Tagen Aufenthalt in Niedersachsen. Dort, in der Nähe von Hildesheim, besichtigte ich eines der schönsten deutschen Schlösser, die Marienburg:
Just coming back from a trip to Northern Germany, I’ve got a lot of photos to show… I only spent a week with a stop of two days near Hannover and Hildesheim. There one of Germany’s most beautiful castles, „Marienburg“, is greeting visitors from afar:
Leider darf man in den großartigen Räumen nicht fotografieren, also habe ich das Beste daraus gemacht, außen herum, im Hof und vom Turm aus Bilder zu schießen:

Der Turm: bis zur Brüstung auf halber Höhe kann man hinaufgehen; von dort aus erhebt sich der schmalere Teil, siehe rechts. Unten: Der Blick ins Land von der Brüstung aus:

In Schleswig-Holstein besuchte ich Verwandte in Meldorf. Leider war das Wetter wenig sommerlich; Baden war gar nicht drin. Doch an trockenen Tagen konnten wir wenigstens die schönsten und typischen Seiten des Nordens genießen:
Then, in the region „Schleswig-Holstein“, I met relatives of mine in Meldorf. Alas, the weather was quite cold and often rainy, no chance of swimming in the sea. But in dry if windy weather we could at least enjoy the beautiful and typical scenes of the region:
