Diese fröhlich-bunte Bluse ist aus vier Stoffen genäht: ein schlichter, ganz dünner „Jeans“stoff, ein ähnlicher mit bunter Stickerei, ein Seidenstoff mit 30% Wolle – das ist der karierte mit den Paisleys darauf – sowie ein Wildseidenstoff mit Goldlurex. In Festigkeit und Fall sind sie sich alle sehr ähnlich, daher war das Nähen problemlos.

This fancy, colourful blouse has been sewn from four different fabrics. A very lightweight  cotton material, denim style, another, similar one with colourful embroidery, a mixture of 70% silk and 30% wool – that’s the tartan print with paisleys – and a tussah silk material in shades of red with gold lurex. Concerning weight and feel they match each other, so sewing went without a hitch.

Die Rückseite besteht hauptsächlich aus dem Stickereistoff; die 3/4 Ärmel sind unterschiedlich: einmal der Paisleystoff, einmal der Stickereistoff. Von vorne betrachtet habe ich sie quasi gegengleich angebracht: wo die Vorderseite Paisleystoff zeigt, ist der Ärmel aus Stickereistoff, und umgekehrt.

For the back I’ve chosen mostly the embroidered material; the 3/4 length sleeves show different fabrics: one is made from the tartan/paisley material, the other one from the embroidered one. They are arranged to create a certain equilibrium, regarding the front: where the front panel shows Tartan/paisley material, the sleeve is embroidered, and vice versa.

Außerdem gibt es noch ein paar nette Details: eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Goldknöpfe, die in verschiedenen Abständen aufgenäht  sind; 2 gekaufte Schmetterlings-Applikationen, die nur aufgebügelt werden mussten, und einen Aufnäher mit meinem fiktiven Label.

Moreover, there are some nice details: an uneven row of different gold tone buttons, 2 purchased butterfly appliqués which just had to be ironed on, and my fictitious label, sewn near the hem on the right front.
