In letzter Zeit habe ich einige Stoffe, die teils jahrelang in meinem Schrank lagen, zu Blusen vernäht und auch gleich passende Ketten gestaltet:

Diese Bluse mit Afrika/Safari-Motiv war Inspiration für eine Kette, die ich „Tribal Elements“ nenne:
This Africa/Safari-themed blouse was inspiration for a necklace I call „Tribal Elements“:
Hier sind nämlich durch die Zutaten die vier Elemente vertreten: Muschel, Korallen und Perlen für Wasser, Citrine und Bernstein für Erde, getrocknete Fruchtkerne und Taguanuss-perlen für Luft (da beides in luftiger Höhe auf Bäumen heranwächst), sowie Muranoglasperlen für das Feuer, in welchem Glas ja entsteht. Und da ich im Schwung war, habe ich auch gleich ein passendes Armband und Ohrhänger dazu gemacht.
The materials I’ve used for this necklace stand for the four elements: seashell, corals and pearls for water, amber and citrines for earth, dried fruit kernels and tagua-nut beads (which grow high in trees) for air and beads of Murano glass for fire, because that’s where glass is born. I then got somewhat carried away also creating matching earrings and a bracelet.
Die andere Bluse ist farblich ganz anders und der Stoffdruck hat das Thema „Indien“.
The next blouse shows a different colour theme and the print conjures „India“.
Hierzu passt eine etwas opulentere Kette, wie sie vielleicht eine Maharani tragen würde 🙂

Der obere Teil besteht aus einer Kette von petrolfarbenen Swarovski-Steinen, darunter habe ich kleine Türkisperlchen und größere aus gefärbtem Jaspis verwendet. Jetzt muss nur noch schönes Sommerwetter kommen, damit ich das alles tragen kann!
The upper part consists of a rhinestone chain, for the lower part I’ve used tiny turquoise beads and bigger ones of dyed jasper. Now I’m waiting for sunny weather to show off my creations!
